The Soldier’s Memorial Middle School youth basketball camp began June 7. Around 20 athletes attended the camp directed by new lady Blue Devil’s basketball coach Stacy McMichael. McMichael was assisted by some of her 5th and 6th grade players.
Although McMichael didn’t want behind the lens she did say this about the camp, “We have over 20 players participating and the goal of the camp is to simply have fun while working on the fundamentals of the game. I would like to thank every player, parent, and volunteer for helping make this camp a great one.”
The camp is entirely self funded.
