The last two games for the Claiborne Lady Bulldogs were filled with swings of emotions. They won against Union County 42-39 but lost to a very good Greeneville team, 93-35.
During the Union County game January 21, the Lady Bulldogs led by three at the half, 21-18 and used that advantage to seal the victory. Hannah Fugate led the way on the scorebook with 16 points and Allie Jones dropped in 14. Emma Myatt had eight and Hailey Sexton finished with four points. Makayla Cooper from the Lady Patriots scored 11 to lead her team.
During the Greeneville game, it was all Lady Green Devils. They led at the half 47-13 and went on to win big, 93-35. Hailey Sexton led Claiborne with 12 points. Allie Jones had nine, Hannah Fugate and Taylor Pressnell both had five, Katie Hicks had three and Emma Myatt finished with one point. Grace Hayes led Greeneville with 22 points.
