HY Livesay Girls County Champions
The Claiborne County champion H.Y. Livesay Lady Eagles moved one step closer to the 2021-2022 district basketball title after defeating Midway 43-0. In opening round action, the Lady Eagles jumped ahead of the Lady Red Devils 28-0 by halftime and went on to win. Brinkley Hollin led all scorers with 14 with Jenna Middleton close behind with 13. Jaylee Hayes had 11. Jayla Bailey had three, Jaelynn Jones had two along with Morgan Martin, Kelly Hatfield and Izzy Helton. Allie Fortner finished the total with a single point.
