The 2022 Cumberland Gap Lady Panthers soccer team started the season with a win over Providence Academy, August 16. Cumberland Gap’s Carlie Napier kicked in the go-ahead goal with only seconds left in the game to take a 6-5 victory. Allyson Brock had two goals and two assists, Carlie Napier had two goals, Aly Ramsey had a single goal with four assists, Abby Welch had one goal and Brianna Goins had two assists. Breanna Mason was in net and had eight saves. Abby Welch was named the First Century Bank Player of the Game.
