Claiborne fell to Chuckey-Doak Friday night, 27-6, but there some great performances on the football field.
Offensively, Cole Jones was as steady as ever, just missing a 100-yard game with 14 carries for 90-yards and one touchdown. For his efforts, Jones is the Matt Compton, State Farm Offensive Player of the Game. Special shout out to the offensive line.
Defensively, Jaris Bunch and RJ Robinson both had six tackles, one sack and one tackle for loss. For their efforts on defense, Bunch and Robinson are the Danny England Motors Defensive Players of the Game.
