27-13 was the varsity girls final score from the Powell Valley verses Washburn basketball game, November 9. Cabella Duverney led the Lady Indians with 16 points. Annah Bean added five, Madison Medley scored four and Gabi Bean dropped in two. Amelia King led Washburn with six and Leah Collins had five. Alyssa Jarnigan scored two completing the total.
Hunter Ellison ‘s 17 points led the varsity Powell Valley Indians to victory over Washburn, 43-33. Colby Weaver finished with nine, Braden Lane had eight, Korbin Goins had four, Jaden Brown had three and Luke Lloyd had two. For the Pirates, Bryson Clay led his team and all scorers with 18. Gavin Kincaid had eight, Ariam Anderson had five and Noah Harville had two.
