Winning by nearly 3 feet. The conditions were not the best but Tyrell stepped up to the challenge. He was determined to be a state champion and he achieved his goal. Tyrell performed well in Long Jump as well with a jump of 22ft 9.5in. This placed him 2nd with difficult wind conditions. Track news courtesy of Chittum’s Mini Barns.
I can’t be more proud of the young man and athlete Tyrell has sprung into. Faith and Justin have done an excellent job of giving Tyrell the platform to grow and prosper. Tyrell’s mark will forever be left on Claiborne High athletics. He is the embodiment of the standard we all should strive for. – Coach Lee
