August 17- The annual Springdale Volunteer Fire Department Car Show was once again a huge success. There were over 160 vehicles make the trip to what is now one of the best car shows in East Tennessee. Owners brought in numerous Corvettes, Mustangs, Chevelles, Mopar’s of all kinds, Novas, Kenworth, International Scout, Jaguars, Jeeps, all kinds of awesome vintage trucks and more. The show is a fundraiser for the fire department who will use the funding to help purchase everything from vehicles, turnout gear, personal protective equipment and other various items. Springdale VFD would like to thank everyone who entered a vehicle, spectators, vendors, food trucks, volunteers and anyone who had a part in making this show a success. It was truly a great turnout with the threat of rainy weather forecasted.
