Eli England is the first 2024 inductee to the Claiborne County Sports Hall of Fame presented by Matt Compton, State Farm. Nominated by multiple people, England was chosen by Claiborne County Sports Zone for his unmatched high school tennis career. England never lost during the regular season, going perfect, only losing in the post-season. His overall high school record was 126-3. England won three district titles, one team title, two regional titles, and one team regional title. He was named all-state multiple times. Among his accolades, England was a runner-up in the state tournament as a freshman. He participated and won in other tennis tournaments away from high school and had a tournament record of 248-7. England is currently playing tennis for Tusculum. For his perfect regular season record and all the other accolades, Eli England is a 2024 inductee into the Claiborne County Sports Hall of Fame presented by Matt Compton, State Farm. The Claiborne County Sports Hall of Fame was established by Claiborne County Sports Zone in 2022.
