Tyrell Miles had a great athletic career as both a football player and with the track team at Claiborne High School. Tyrell shined as a senior on the CHS track team and became a star. As a junior in the triple and long jump events, everyone could see he was on the brink of doing something great. As a senior, all the potential was realized. He concluded his high school track career with a loud bang. Tyrell Miles won the Tennessee State Championship in the TSSAA Division 1-AA Triple Jump with a personal record and CHS school record of 46ft-5in. Winning the event by nearly three feet. He is the embodiment of the standard we all should strive for.”

For his unmatched efforts on the track, Tyrell Miles has been chosen for inclusion in the Claiborne County Sports Hall of Fame presented by Matt Compton, State Farm.  Claiborne County Sports Hall of Fame was established by Claiborne County Sports Zone in 2022.
