December 10- Day two featured three games. The first was a meeting between H.Y. Livesay and Powell Valley on the girl’s side of the bracket. It was a close game throughout with the Lady Eagles winning 11-9. Tied at the half, these two went back and forth until the final buzzer. Josie Lawson led the scoring with six. Jayden McAllister and Payson Hatfield had two and Sadie Martin had one. For the Lady Indians, Taytum Brummett scored five and Ellie Moyers had two.
A boy’s game was next with Livesay and Forge Ridge. The Eagles defeated the Dragons 26-18. Jackson Dixon led H.Y. in scoring with eight. Teagan May, Norris Cadle and Braycen Miracle each had four. Samuel Garside and Sawyer Cook both finished with two. Jayce Brimm led all scorers with 13. Max Collingsworth had five.
The final game of the night was between the boys of Soldier’s Memorial Middle School and Clairfield. The Blue Devils led at the half, 21-7 and went on to win 35-15. Jacob Goodin led SMMS with 15, Braxton Lovin had seven. Brice Gregory had five. Ethan Goins and Braxton Ferrell both had three and Noah Chumley had two. Clairfield was led by Trenton Norman with11. Carson Underwood had two as did Garrison Maiden.
