February 11- Claiborne High hosted Union County with game one being the varsity girl’s game. Claiborne was behind after one period of play, 14-10 but led at the half, 29-27. The Lady Patriots had a strong second half and won by the final of 64-57. Kelsey Holt was lights-out for Union as she dropped in 36 points. Kayla Collins scored 22 as well. Claiborne had nine score with Emily Buchanan leading with 12 plus several steals. Jacey Ferguson had 11 and Rhea Ware dropped in 10. The Nichole Goins, Heartland Real Estate Player of the Game for CHS was Buchanan.
