Cumberland Gap Panthers baseball downs Bulldogs, 10-9.

March 11- Claiborne hosted Cumberland Gap on the baseball diamond and grabbed the lead late only to see the Panthers rally when Pearman battled at the plate and hit the go-ahead RBI single that gave the Panthers a 10-9 lead. The Gap needed three outs in the bottom of the seventh and got just that from Kole Carter on the mound. Carter finished a game that Tate Murphy was strong and pitched well in. Coach Hatmaker picked Murphy for The Sports Center Player of the Game. The Panther roster features Hudson Harris, Tate Murphy, Hunter Gibson, Noah Meyer, Jaden Pearman, George Capps, Eli Reed, Kole Carter, Skye Hatfield, Zayden Michael, Bryson McDaniel, Brady Harris, and Neil Bunch. They are coached by Nate Hatmaker. Claiborne’s roster features Garrett Keiter, Emery Keiter, Sam Wilson, Hunter Greer, Kaleb Painter, Landon Hemphill, Isaac Daniels, Daniel Cobb, Chace Robinette, Jaxon Bailey, Jesse Francis, and Alex Painter.
