September 13- On a beautiful afternoon and evening, Tazewell welcomed Lake City into town for the three games of TYFC football. The TYFC also had Air Evac Lifeteam drop the ceremonial game ball to the center of the field. It was homecoming night and the TYFC named their Kings, Princesses and Queen. The first game featured the JV Hoppers and the Timberwolves led at the half, 22-0. They added to their lead in the third and took a 29-0 victory.
The second game of the night featured the Hoppers. It was 18-0 at the half and at the end of the game, 30-0.
Between the Hoppers and Cutters games, the TYFC held their homecoming activities. The 2025 JV Hopper Prince was Legend Young. The JV Hopper Princess second runner up was Lacey Seals. The first runner up was Jacee Collins, and the 2025 JV Hopper Princess was Teagan Brock. The Hopper Princess first runner up was Olivia Martin. The Hopper Princess was Mackenzie Fraley. The Cutter Prince was Jordan Yoakum. The 2025 TYFC King was Alex Wolfenbarger and the 2025 TYFC Queen was Braylee Barnes. Combined, the participants raised $12,127.55 for the TYFC.
The final game of the night featured the Cutters. Tazewell jumped ahead quickly and by the end of the game had placed 34 on the scoreboard and shutout the Lakers.
