Cumberland Gap falls to Unaka girls and boys on a night dedicated to Katlin Burger

November 20- The season and home opener for Cumberland Gap basketball was a special one in that it was dedicated to the loving memory of Katlin Burger. Teacher and girls assistant coach, Burger, was taken in a tragic accident only a few days ago. All around the gymnasium you could see fans wearing tee shirts featuring Katlin’s college number, 33. She will always be a part of the Cumberland Gap family.

On the court, the Lady Rangers came in and led at the half, 22-19. The Lady Panthers tried to narrow the advantage but couldn’t get the big run that put them ahead. Unaka won the game 44-33.
