Midway varsity Red Devils defeated the Springdale Owls, 56-37.
Midway started scoring early with Kaden Williams scoring nine in the opening period. Williams was injured Monday and it did not look as if he would return so quickly but his return was quick and successful. He led the Red Devils in scoring with 18. Braeden Bennett had 14, Jeffery Holt scored 11, Gage Ray had seven and Dizel Ford added six to the overall total. Midway led at the half, 29-22.
The Owls played tough and tried to hang in with Midway spurred on by Chace Robinette and his 11 points. Drew Epperson had nine, Owen Medlin dropped in eight, Robbie Buchanan had six and Lukas Thomas had three.
