H.Y. Livesay traveled to Lake City to battle the Lakers, October 28.
The Eagles JV team got a 37-10 victory led by Eli Reed ‘s 10 points. Grayson Cook and Jacob Tinnel scored six, Lucas Claiborne scored five, Tyler Evans had four, Benson Hensley dropped in three, Keaton Clawson had two and Neil Bunch scored a single point. Easton Owens led Lake City with seven.
H.Y. varsity girls won big, 56-10. The Lady Eagles were led by Brinkley Hollin with 23, Jaylee Hayes had 15, Jayla Bailey dropped in six, Jenna Middleton had four, Jaelynn Jones had three, Izzy Helton had two and Morgan Martin completed the total with one point. Emerie Bullock led the Lady Lakers with eight.
The Eagles varsity boys team won a close contest, 35-34. They had trouble stopping Laker Justin Bunch who dropped in 18 points. It took an entire team effort from the Eagles to get the win. Three players delivered eight point games including Brady Harris, Neil Bunch and Jed Bailey. Kole Carter had six and Johnny Wilder had five.
