The H.Y. Livesay basketball team traveled to Huntsville to play three games of basketball. The Varsity Eagles won 50-15 in part due to 13 point efforts of both Jaylee Hayes and Brinkley Hollin. Jayla Bailey had 12. Jenna Middleton added 10 more and Allie Fortner completed the total with one basket. They led at the half 25-11. Leading Huntsville in scoring was Cecil and Jeffers with four each.
The JV Eagles won 35-11. This one was 17-5 at the half and Eli Reed led in scoring for the Eagles with seven. Keaton Clawson has six, Lucas Claiborne had five, Benson Hensley scored four along with Koalton Cupp. grayson Cupp added three along with Jacob Tinnel. Tyler Evans had two and rounding out the scoring was Kole Carter with a single point.
The varsity game was a close one. Livesay won 32-27 with Brady Harris drooping in 12 points. Jed Bailey added eight along with Kole Carter. Johnny Wilder completed the total with four. I. Washam led the home team with nine. The score at the half was 15-12 in favor of the Eagles.
