The Livesay Lady Eagles defeated both the junior varsity and varsity Lady Red Devils, January 4. The first game was the JV girls, and they were actually down by one point at the half, 7-6. The comeback was complete with a big fourth period as they scored 10 and took the win 16-13. Allie Owens led the way in the scorebook with six points, Sara Stamper had five, Morgan Martin had three and Abby Peters scored two to complete the total. Kyla Collins led HMMS with six points.
During the varsity game, the Lady Eagles led 22-11 at the half and went on to win 43-19 in part to Jayla Bailey’s 14 points. Jaylee Hayes and Brinkley Hollin both had 11 points. Jenna Middleton had four, Jaelynn Jones had two and the total was completed by Abby Peters with one point. Kyla Collins and Kambrie Bailey co-led the Lady Red Devils with six points each.
