Lady Bulldogs fall to Cocke County on senior night, 72-33

The Claiborne Lady Bulldogs have struggled to find an identity all season long and scoring is one thing they can’t find consistency at. That struggle happened again, February 3, at home against Cocke County. Being senior night, fans were hoping to see the Lady Bulldogs find something to keep the scoreboard moving but the very good Cocke County team scored 45 the first half and went on to win 72-33. Claiborne was able to score 24 during the opening half but the baskets slowed down in the second half.

Leading the Lady Bulldogs was Allie Jones with nine, Emma Myatt had seven, Hailey Sexton had six, Hannah Fugate had five, Jordan Fultz, Addie Brooks and Taylor Pressnell all dropped in two points. Cocke County was led in scoring by Graci Gregg with 19 and Sydney Clevenger with 15.
