The Claiborne High School basketball program hosted Hancock for the final regular season games of the 2021-22 season. Claiborne’s varsity girls defeated the Lady Indians by the final score of 51-41. The Lady Bulldogs led 27-23 at the half and went on to get the victory behind Allie Jones’ game leading 18 points and Hailey Sexton’s 12 points. Taylor Pressnell had seven, Hannah Fugate scored five, Ily Bussell had three, Carly Hall had two along with Addie Brooks and Emma Myatt along with Neveah Cobb dropped in one point. Reagan Collins led Hancock with 12 and Cassi Dalton added 11 points during the loss. The Zone did not receive any information on the boys varsity game but they lost by 14 points.
