The Claiborne Devils softball team honored the eighth graders plus won the game against Campbell County 15-0, April 25.
The TNT Nutrition Player of the Game award was given to all the eighth graders including Jacey Ferguson, Brinkley Hollin, Jaylen Pressnell, Kayli Marshall and Marley Sweet.
The Devils also had a few awards handed out: All-District First Team honors went to Jacey Ferguson, Brinkley Hollin, Marley Sweet, Kayli Marshall and Jaylen Pressnell. Second Team All-District selections went to Jaycee Hall, Izzy Helton, Madison Johnson and Maci Short.
The junior varsity Devils also won 6-1 and the TNT Nutrition Player of the Game was earned by Madalyn Parker who drove in two much needed runs with one swing of her bat.
