Claiborne Lady Bulldogs soccer hosted Cosby, August 30. Claiborne played a strong game and scored 11 goals while only giving up two. Abby Yeary was in net and had five saves. Taylor Pressnell had a hat trick of three goals and added five assists: however, her awesome effort was passed up by Haley LeBert. LeBert set a Lady Bulldogs single game scoring record with eight goals and for good measure she added one assist. Lacey Estep and Allie Jones also had assists. Overall, it was a great performance by Claiborne who may just be getting a new lineup figured out.
The First Century Bank Player of the Game was earned by Haley LeBert for setting the single game goal record with eight. Congratulations Haley!
