The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lady Indians 66-41. During the December 2 meeting Claiborne started off quickly behind the efforts of Emma Myatt and her three-point shooting. Myatt knocked down three during the first period and had help from Jordan Fultz and Taylor Pressnell who added two more. The Lady Bulldogs led 21-7 after one period of play. Ily Bussell knocked down a three and scored five in total during the second period. Claiborne led 33-22 at the half.
Addie Brooks, Allie Jones and Hannah Fugate combined their efforts during the third period and Channing Buis came in and hit three points making the score 51-23. Genesis Bailey stepped up during the final period and scored eight points. At the final buzzer Claiborne had scored 66 and gave up only 41 with a great overall defensive effort.
Claiborne was led in scoring by Bailey with 12. Myatt finished with 11 points. Four Claiborne Lady Bulldogs scored 7 points each including Brooks, Bussell, Jones and Fugate. Pressnell finished with five, Buis had four and Fultz had three points. Hancock was led by Madeline Dalton with 13 and Raegan Collins with 11.
