April 11- Claiborne High School bused the Bulldogs baseball team to Cocke County. Claiborne secured the win with big innings in both the fifth and sixth innings. The Bulldogs scored four runs in the fifth and three runs in the sixth. Derek Mase got the win on the mound, and Ty Pryse pitched three innings striking out four.
At the plate, Evan Thomas led the Bulldogs with four RBI. Derek Mase and Tyler Holt both had two RBI. Tyler Myatt and Holt both had two hits. Myatt had two doubles. As a team, Claiborne tallied nine hits. Cocke County had four hits.
The Sports Center Player of the Game was Evan Thomas.
