September 15- Cumberland Gap hosted Hampton for Friday football and the visitors were relentless scoring 69 points. Cumberland Gap’s offense was working too, and they put up 28 on the scoreboard but it wasn’t near enough, and the home team fell 69-28. Hunter Sturgill provided some of the offense for the Panthers as he scored two rushing touchdowns. Adding two more scores was Allen Brooks, one rushing TD and one passing to Noah Meyer. The Matt Compton, State Farm Co-Offensive Players of the Game were Allen Brooks and Hunter Sturgill, both with two touchdowns each. Sturgill had two rushing scores and Brooks had one rushing and one passing.
The Danny England Motors Defensive Player of the Game was Aiden Peters. Peters had an excellent defensive game which included one fumble recovery.
