Claiborne played Campbell County April 29 and an incident involving Trevor Edds left the standout soccer player with a serious injury to his jaw. The game ended with a Claiborne County forfeit.

Trevor was admitted tonight. Expecting surgery tomorrow afternoon when they will insert plates to realign and reconnect his jaws and possible wiring may be necessary. Liquid diet @ 6 weeks. Thank you all for the prayers and concern. Please also remember Paul at home with the rest of the kids as you continue prayers. God is in control
