Cumberland Gap Lady Panthers sailed to an easy victory over Campbell County 13-3, April 23.

Alana Bean was in the circle for the Cumberland Gap Lady Panthers. The righty surrendered three runs on eight hits over five innings, striking out six.

Cora Browning was in the circle for Campbell County. The Bulldog allowed 17 hits and 13 runs over five innings, striking out five. The Lady Panthers collected 17 hits on the day.

Sidney McWilliams, Shelby Brewer, Alexia Norris, Bean, Jada Lawson, and Neveah Kerns all managed multiple hits for Cumberland Gap. Brewer and McWilliams each collected three hits to lead Cumberland Gap.

The Lady Panthers also stole ten bases during the game as five players stole more than one. Borris led the way with two.

Cumberland Gap fielded well and didn’t commit a single error. Brewer had the most chances in the field with six.

The final score was 13-3 and the Lady Panthers overall record is now 13-8.
