Bulldogs soccer defeated Knights 4-1 on senior night

The Claiborne Bulldogs soccer team battled the J. Frank White Knights, May 6.

The Knights scored first off the foot of Hamilton and then Claiborne found a way to add four goals unanswered. The first goal was by Cayden Brown at 11:02 in the first.

At 8:22 it was Devin Edds turn and Brown added another as the second half had just got underway, 3-1 Bulldogs.

Trevin Thompson scored the last goal of the match and Claiborne’s fourth goal.

Brown had two assists and took 10 shots. Edds also had an assist and took 15 shots. Asher Blevins had one assist. Ethan Boyles took two shots and Lucas Schmidt had three shots.

Isaiah Boyles continued his great play between the posts and had 12 saves. Gavin Sweet also had time in net and had two saves.

With the win, Claiborne has two wins over .500 and one tie.
