Bulldogs fall at home- Walmart, New Tazewell Bulldogs Player of the Game: Landen Wilson

Claiborne battled district rival Chuckey-Doak, October 15. The Bulldogs held a lead over the Black Knights late in the second quarter due to the offensive efforts of Landen Wilson, Landen Poore and Josh Bolton; however, a score before the half left the Knights leading 24-20.

Claiborne did not find the end zone in the second half and the Knights ran their total out to 39 and took the victory 39-20.

Coach Medlin said this following the game, “Landen Poore split time at tight end and running back and did a good job at both positions.”

He also mentioned Landen Wilson, “Landen did a great job running the offense and played a really solid game. I’m so proud of how quickly he has been able to step into his role on our team.” Wilson was named Walmart, New Tazewell Player of the Game.

The Bulldogs travel to Grainger for their next game October 22, with kickoff set for 7:30.
