Springdale hosted Livesay, November 15

Springdale played host to H.Y. Livesay, November 15.

The first game was a junior varsity girls contest and the Lady Owls led off with six points before the Lady Eagles rolled off 24 unanswered to win 24-6. Host team Springdale was led in scoring by Kinsley Hayes with four and Bella Cadle with two. The Lady Eagles were led in scoring by Amillya Smith with 14. Allie Owens had eight and Peyton Owens had two.

The JV boys played next and 15-8 was the final score with the Eagles taking the victory. Robby Wilmoth led the hosting Owls with seven points and Will Compton added a single point. Noah Fultz led H.Y. with six, Cason Adams had five and Koalton Cupp dropped in four points.

The varsity girls game was a 56-22 Lady Eagles victory. Jacey Ferguson led the hosting Lady Owls in scoring with seven, Graci Cupp had six, Chloe Cupp had four, Avalynn Cook and Emily Buchanan had two each and the total was completed with one point from Hope Cole. The Lady Eagles were led by Brinkley Hollin with 19, Jayla Bailey had 15, Jenna Middleton dropped in 10, Jaylee Hayes had eight and Kelly Hatfield along with Abby Peters both had two points.

During the varsity boys game, the two played pretty much as equals during the opening half of play. The score was tied at 11 at the half; however, during the third period the Eagles outscored the Owls 13-9. The final score was 36-27 with the Eagles taking the win. Leading the visiting H.Y. Livesay Eagles in scoring was Brady Harris with 14, Johnny Wilder with 10, Kole Carter had six. Three other Eagles recorded two points each including Neil Bunch, Jed Bailey and Eli Reed. The Owls were led by Drew Epperson with 11. Chace Robinette with six, Lukas Thomas and Corbin Whitaker had four each and Owen Medlin finished with two.
