Claiborne High School and Union County met on the courts, March 17, with the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs powering to wins. The boys blanked the Patriots 9-0 and the girls lost one game 5-1.
Eli England, Josh Knuckles, Levi Jones and Jalen Green all won in straight sets and George Smith lost one set on the way to his win. On the girl’s side, Caryle England dropped one set, Ily Bussell, Maddie Ayers, Tayla McAnally won in straight sets and Jade Williams lost 6-4. Claiborne swept the evening in doubles play.
