Claiborne High School went on the road to battle Cocke County, March 14, and led early before finding themselves in an extra inning battle. The Lady Bulldogs rallied the troops and were able to win by the final score of 6-2.
Coach Justin Cox said this about Lady Bulldogs pitcher Emma Myatt, “Myatt pitched a nine-inning complete game. She finished giving up two runs on four hits, had 15 strikeouts and issued only four walks. Myatt also went two for five at the plate with a double and an RBI.
