Lady Panthers win 16-2 over Barbourville

Cumberland Gap Varsity Panthers had no trouble on offense today, winning big over Barbourville Tigers Varsity 16-2

Cumberland Gap Varsity Panthers got things moving in the first inning. Cumberland Gap Varsity Panthers scored two runs when Kerry Dixon tripled.

Cumberland Gap Varsity Panthers put up six runs in the seventh inning. Cumberland Gap Varsity Panthers’s big inning was driven by walks by Dixon, Maddie Stevens, and Hayden Beeler, a groundout by Shelbie Medley, and a double by Lacey Gulley.

Dixon led things off in the pitcher’s circle for Cumberland Gap Varsity Panthers. The righthander allowed three hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out 15.

Cumberland Gap Varsity Panthers hit one home run on the day. Sidney McWilliams had a long ball in the fourth inning.

Beeler led the way with three.
