The Claiborne High School tennis team produced a district champion, May 6 at Lincoln Memorial University. The girl’s doubles team of Ily Bussell and Addie Brooks defeated a team from Alcoa, Anderson/Patel.
Claiborne’s Carlye England finished as runner up in the individual tournament. All three advance to regional play.
