There are a few Claiborne kids on a local travel football team named the Black Mambas 8u and this past weekend they won the 8u championship at Battle of the Best Football Tournament with a crazy defensive game score of six to two.
The Claiborne County kids are Emmett Combs, Henry Partin, Colt Pope and Dallas Bunch. The Mambas will play again this coming weekend in the National Invitation (Battle in Rocky Top).
