Cumberland Gap hosts Alcoa but fall, 19-3

March 28- Cumberland Gap baseball hosted the Alcoa Tornadoes, got behind early and could not recover. Alcoa scored their first run in the first inning and added seven in the fifth. The Panthers managed eight hits including multiple hits from Tate Murphy, Gibbs Cochran and Riley Justice. Justice, Riley and Cochran all had two hits.

The winning pitcher for Alcoa was Hayes and the starting pitcher for the Panthers was Andy Osborne. Osborne struck out two with zero base on balls but gave up six hits over two innings.

Alcoa went on to win 19-3.

The Sports Center Player of the Game has not been named as of yet.
