Grizzlies take down Bulldogs 8-1

March 27- Grainger scored three runs in top of first inning and Claiborne left three stranded. In the top of the second, the Grizzlies added another run making the score 4-0. In the bottom of the second the Bulldogs went three up and three down. Claiborne took Grainger down in order to start the third and finally got it going at the plate. Dylan Foster was on the base pads when Ty Pryse grounded out and scored Foster from third making it 4-1. During the top of the fourth, Grainger had the bases loaded but Tyler Myatt got out of the jam with a ground ball to short and the out at second base. In the bottom half, Grainger pitching was on point and struck out the side. Grainger benefitted from Bulldog mistakes and were able to put two more runs on the board making it 6-1. During Claiborne’s half of the fifth, Ty Pryse singled but was left stranded. Grainger got two insurance runs in the sixth on a two-run homerun and the score increased to 8-1. Neither team scored again, and Claiborne didn’t have a response offensively in the final two innings. The Grizzlies won 8-1. Below is a video from the game and a few photos.
