April 24- The Claiborne Athletics played host to rival Tennessee Eagles on a beautiful but cool evening. The Eagles jumped out front 6-0, but the Athletics fought back and cut the advantage in half, 6-3. From that moment on, it was all Eagles. Claiborne soon found themselves down 11-3 and needed to score eight to continue to play, but it wasn’t meant to be. The Eagles got the final three outs and won the game, 11-3.
