September 14- Claiborne volleyball defeated Union County in three straight sets and earned their first district win of the season. Kayli Marshall and Emily Buchannan were named First Century Bank Players of the Game. Marshall led the team with 15 digs and also had two aces and three assists. Buchanan had a career high eight kills, three aces and 14 digs. The Claiborne program has made huge strides since returning to the high school in 2021.
