September 25- Claiborne and Pineville met on the volleyball court and both the Lady Bulldogs junior varsity and varsity teams came away with wins. Claiborne took the junior varsity match 2-0 after winning set one, 28-26 and set two, 25-4. The Lady Bulldogs celebrated their seniors, Genesis Bailey and Tayla Mcanally in between matches. Claiborne’s varsity came out on the court a focused group. The Lady Bulldogs won the opening set 26-24, the second set 25-11 but the third set went to the visiting Lady Mountain Lions 25-16. Claiborne refocused and were able to win the fourth set 25-16 and the match 3-1. The Commercial Bank Players of the game were seniors Mcanally and Bailey.
