August 18- The Claiborne Lady Bulldogs got a straight set victory over Cosby in their home and season opener. It wasn’t easy though as they had to overcome a second set which Cosby had their best set of the night. The Lady Bulldogs took the first set 25-18 and rallied in the second to win 25-19 and polished off the match, taking the third set, 25-15. The Lady Bulldogs combined for 19 aces. The Claiborne County Sports Zone Player of the Game went to Emily Buchanan as she spurred on the second set comeback with her serve.
