The Zone’s First Responder of the Month as presented by Randall Smith is Jeremiah Widner. Nominated by Blake Helderman, Widner, is an officer at the Tazewell Police Department. Also known as Bubba, Jeremiah was an athlete at Claiborne High School and graduated from the East Tennessee Law Enforcement Regional Training Academy. He enjoys time with his family, pets and even assists youth football as time allows. Friends say he has a calm demeanor and always has an infectious smile.
