On August 18, Cosby’s volleyball teams traveled to Claiborne High for junior varsity and varsity matches. The JV match kicked things off, with the Lady Bulldogs taking the first set 25-16, but dropping the next two, 26-24 and 15-11, giving Claiborne the 2-1 win.
In the varsity matchup on the Carl R. Green Gymnasium floor, CHS pulled off a comeback in set one, winning 27-25. However, the visiting Lady Eagles responded by taking the next three sets, 25-17, 25-11, and 25-12, to claim the match in four sets. Below are a few photos from both games. -AE
