When Claiborne County Mayor Joe Brooks reached out to The Zone we told him that our goal was to remain free of politics and focus entirely on sports and our local youth. Mayor Brooks agreed and wanted to help get the website going. Brooks has always supported our athletes both young and old so he agreed on a partnership and was one of the original partners.
