The Claiborne Bulldogs middle school football team welcomed the Red Devils into town September 8. The Bulldogs were looking to get their first win of the season but fell to Horace Maynard.
Horace Maynard led at the half 14-8 and went on to get the road win 36-16. The offense for the Bulldogs was provided by Owen Medlin and TJ Crigger who both had a touchdown each. For their efforts, Medlin and Crigger earned Claiborne Health & Wellness Players of the Game honors. Congratulations Owen and TJ!
