December 12- The varsity boys’ team from Cumberland Gap fell 81-58 to a very good Grainger team. Grainger’s Shawn and Turner combined for 41 points and led the Grizzlies to the win. Kolton Goins and Brady Harris had big nights for the Gap as they scored 15 and 14 points respectively. Ethan Powell and Kaleb Powers both had eight, Noah Younts had six, Colton Jones had five. Gavin and Jacob Surber both scored a single point. The loss was a small setback to a team going in the right direction under Coach Horton. The Claiborne Health & Wellness Players of the Game were Goins and Harris.
