Legacy Student of the Month Award Winners Announced

Legacy Student of the Month Award

The Legacy Student of the Month Award winners were named, October 1, in a live Facebook announcement by Shelley Lester. There were two names selected from 20 nominations and the $50 dollar Visa card winners were Sierra Jones from TNT primary and Dawson Collingsworth from the Alpha School.

Suzanne Anders- “My first nomination for a student deserving recognition is a fourth grader from TNT Primary School. Sierra Jones. Sierra gets off the bus each morning holding the hand of a kindergarten student who needs a little extra support. She obviously takes care of him on the bus and holds his hand through the breakfast line, into the cafeteria, and then to his classroom before going on to her own classroom. She has done this every morning since the first day of school. What a great example of a caring young person!”

Congratulations Sierra from The Zone and Legacy.

Teresa Fuson- “Dawson Collingsworth is a five year old seasoned Veteran at The Alpha School. He is one of our students we call a “lifer” because he has attended Alpha for three years. Dawson is the type of student you can’t help but to fall in love with him and his charm. He tells everyone he loves them before he leaves each day. When he first started The Alpha School he was a little shy and had some fears but he has overcome all these obstacles. Dawson now walks into school with confidence as he is the leader of the pack. He loves to help his friends and is always eager to guide his classmates through troubled situations. He is a very smart little boy with a bright future ahead of him. His energy and smile glows all day long. I must add, this boy is a sharp dressed little man.”

Congratulations Dawson from The Zone and Legacy.

Thank you to all the great nominees this month and those will roll over into consideration for the Legacy, October Student of the Month.
