The Claiborne Lady Bulldogs participated in the Lee County, Virginia Christmas tournament and had wins against Lee and Burton.
The first game was against Lee County and the Lady Bulldogs took a 66-48 victory. Three Lady Bulldogs had 14 each including Hailey Sexton, Allie Jones and Hannah Fugate. Emma Myatt and Taylor Pressnell both had 10 and Jordan Fultz along with Neveah Cobb both dropped in two points.
The second game was against Burton and the Lady Bulldogs got the eight-point win at 50-42. Allie Jones was a scoring machine as she ripped the nets for 23 points. Emma Myatt had 13, Hannah Fugate had seven, Taylor Pressnell had five and Hailey Sexton dropped in two.
Claiborne had three named to the All-Tournament Team including Hannah Fugate, Taylor Pressnell and the Most Valuable Player was Allie Jones.
