Tyrell Miles competed in the 2023 Tennessee State Indoor Track and Field Championships. Top athletes from all over the state of Tennessee came to represent their club/school. Tyrell found himself in high level company in both of his events. He placed 15th out of 18 in the event of Long Jump. He jumped 19′ -1.5″. He also performed well in his other event, Triple Jump. Tyrell found himself jumping against multiple Division 1 commits to schools like Tennessee and Oregon. He stayed calm and jumped good enough for him to proceed to the second round of jumps. He placed seventh out of 21 triple jumpers with a jump of 41′- 3.75″.
Coach Dalton Lee said, “I can’t be prouder of the work he has put in and can’t wait to see how well he does this outdoor season.”
